The starting point
Extend Porter’s traditions into objects for Ancients, families, and friends of the school.
The opportunity was to broaden the school’s keepsake language beyond a single audience or product category.

01 — Inspiration
The details Porter’s Ancients recognize.
The Farmington campus, the daisy, the MPS monogram, and the mink, possum, and squirrel tradition offered a set of symbols with meaning across generations. Together they connect everyday school life with the memories carried by Ancients.
02 — From Story to Form
A Porter’s legacy,carried forward.
We simplified the school’s symbols and tested how each could work at different scales and in different materials.
The same visual language now moves between cufflinks, lapel pins, paperweights, and letter openers—objects suited to wearing, gifting, recognition, and everyday use.
